Such high profile business and political conferences or events are not Omnilogic’s only contribution to our fast-developing community, the company being actively involved in the day-by-day life of its community. The endowment of the Surgical Department of the Central University Emergency Military Hospital
Partner: The Central University Emergency Military Hospital
Beneficiary: doctors and patients of The Central University Emergency Military Hospital
Location: Bucharest
Period: 2010
One of the most important program in health area in 2010 is the generous cash donation to the Surgical Department of the Central University Emergency Military Hospital to purchase the instruments for laparoscopic surgery.
In world practice, laparoscopic surgery had rapidly become popular and has seen widespread development in the last decade. This modern method of minimally invasive surgical treatment, potentially addresses to all patients (regardless of age and sex) requiring a surgery that can be performed using this technique. The benefits offered by minimally invasive surgical treatments compared with those of classical treatments was the reason which prompted program development.
The new toolkit will provide major benefits to both physicians and patients of the Surgical Department of the Central University Emergency Military Hospital regarding the surgery performance act, and the quality of life through the fast rehabilitation and social reintegration after the surgery. Laparoscopic surgeries are contraindicated only to patients in critical condition, but also in the absence of a minimum of instruments or of insufficient surgical experience.
Minimally invasive surgical treatments have the same efficiency as conventional cuts, but more benefits for the patient and doctor, and ultimately for hospital economy.
" The Toolkit will provide major benefits to both physicians and patients regarding the surgery performance act, and the quality of life through the fast rehabilitation and social reintegration after the surgery" said chief of Surgery I, Col. Dr. Artenie Teodor.
" I think is a natural gesture to be receptive to everything that Health means and to the problems that medical world is facing today. Beyond the serious deficiencies faced by the Romanian Health System, investments in health-care are a civilized and widespread form of social responsibility. We have been impressed by the power and great desire of the doctors from "Dr. Carol Davila" Central Military Hospital to improve the quality and safety of the medical act." said Mr. Gabriel Marin, Managing Director Omnilogic.

Together with Brand Academy, Omnilogic organized the first Beyond Borders conference in Romania, held at Parliament House. The theme of the conference was „Branding a Country. Building Reputation From Within”. Thus, it was a matter of honor and pride for Omnilogic to invite and to have Mr. William Jefferson Clinton, the former president of the United States, for one day event in May, 2005.
Through this involvement, Omnilogic wanted to offer Romanian business and political community the chance to share ideas about Romania’s key development opportunities with one of the most prominent speakers and strategic thinkers in the world, the Honorable William Jefferson Clinton.
On this occasion, the former US leader explained the audience how a powerful brand should look: true, good and future-oriented. In addition, Clinton emphasized that every slogan or symbol related to a representative brand for Romania should first be tested in Romania.
According to Mr. Marin “it is a matter of honor for Omnilogic to be the only partner in an event of such importance for Romania and Romanian business environment. As it was emphasized during the dialog I had with former US president, Mr. Bill Clinton, it is important that economic development to become a priority when you have very few things that can become a brand. A free and creative business environment is one of the most marketable securities by this time in Romania”.
