Omnilogic made a generous cash donation to the Surgical Department of the Central University Emergency Military Hospital to purchase the instruments for laparoscopic surgery.

"The Toolkit will provide major benefits to both physicians and patients regarding the surgery performance act, and the quality of life through the fast rehabilitation and social reintegration after the surgery" said chief of Surgery I, Col. Dr. Artenie Teodor.

"I think is a natural gesture to be receptive to everything that Health means and to the problems that medical world is facing today. Beyond the serious deficiencies faced by the Romanian Health System, investments in health-care are a civilized and widespread form of social responsibility. We have been impressed by the power and great desire of the doctors from "Dr. Carol Davila" Central Military Hospital to improve the quality and safety of the medical act." said Mr. Gabriel Marin, Managing Director Omnilogic.

In world practice, laparoscopic surgery had rapidly become popular and has seen widespread development in the last decade. This modern method of minimally invasive surgical treatment, potentially addresses to all patients (regardless of age and sex) requiring a surgery that can be performed using this technique. Laparoscopic surgery is contraindicated only in patients in critical condition, but also in the absence of a minimum of technical equipment or insufficient surgery experience.
